Developed using cutting edge Flash components the TSM e-Vid Player offers a unique multi channel XML feature that utilizes FlashVars for dynamic media loading, and a full screen feature with resizing scripts and auto hide controls. It also takes full advantage of the latest HD H264 codec for high quality video playback across the internet.
The player can play video files stored on multiple different servers as part of the playlist. Click the "Fullscreen" button and the current video will be displayed in fullscreen mode. Click a "Channel" button and the player jumps to a different xml playlist. This approach is the most efficient and flexible way to manage multiple streaming or progressive videos. The XML playlists make it easy to change your video files, titles, and thumbnails using a simple text editor like "Notepad". This multichannel player offers FLV, H264, and AAC media support, bandwidth detection, Flash player detection and multiline closed caption support.
Making video more accessible
The W3C suggest that captions should be avaliable for every published video on a web page. Captions are defined as "synchronised text equivalents of audio information in the same language as the audio, conveying not only speech content, but also non-speech information such as sound effects, music, laughter, and speaker identification and location." They also point out that Closed captions must be able to be turned on or off at will, usually via a menu or control button on the player. All this can be done with e-Vid by just including caption information in the XML configuration files.
Another advantage of e-Vid is the ability to use impression and click tracking with Google Analytics. This allows you to track how often videos are being viewed, which really can help with any business marketing activities.

The e-Vid HD Video Player supports FLV (Flash audio/video) and H264/HE-AAC (MPEG-4 audio/video including F4V, MP4, M4A, MOV, MP4V, 3GP, and 3G2).

Uploading of 1-10 video files. These must be supplied encoded in a format that the player accepts and for optimal performance should be no longer than 3 minutes. You can obviously have larger videos, but they will take longer to download unless they are hosted on a streaming media server and encoded in a streaming format. We can help with this if required.

Q: Can I change the size of the player
A: No the player size is fixed at

Q: Will videos play ok on my server
A: You can play any FLV, H264 and AAC files on any standard web server as a "Progressive Download".
Q: Can I stream videos from my server
A: To stream your FLV, H264 and AAC files, the files must be hosted on a Flash Media Server 3 (or FMIS 3).
Q: Will the player handle a mixture of Progressive and Streaming videos all at the same time.
A: Yes, the demonstration player above is using 3 playlists. The videos under each Channel (Playlist) are all stored on different servers.
Q: My videos are all different sizes what will they display like

The player will force all of your videos to size within the components dimensions while maintaining the videos original aspect ratio.
